Sometimes you just have to step back and take a look at the big picture...
Don't settle for close if it isn't what you want.
You want a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie?
Don't settle for the oatmeal with raisins.
Not that it really matters to you what the cookie thinks...
But on a more universal level that oatmeal with raisins needs something that you can't give.
It needs to find the mouth that is going to enjoy it to its fullest and be able to appreciate all that it as a cookie is and has to offer.
Sure you can pick that cookie up and eat it.
Which is, after all, what the cookie wants... but it NEEDS to be enjoyed.
It needs to be savored, it may need to be dunked in milk, it may need to find itself on the bottom of an ice cream piled with nuts.
(I don't know... How would I know what the cookies hard limist are. Maybe it doesn't like "nut play", fine whatever.)
But ultimately, you won't be satisfied with this cookie... it's not what you were looking for, not what YOU need.
So, you have to be wiling to let that cookie go so both of you may find the thing you want and NEED.
Hmmph mmm you knrow dees cookeesh are so tashtee umph... *gulp swallow*. Mmmm I need some milk...
