I ask that on this day we not forget those who will not be home. The firefighter who will be working a straight 3-day shift. The nurses' and doctors who will be tending to those who may not make it home ever again. The military forces who will be spending this day on ship in the air or in a sleeping bag in another country making safer for us to spend time with our own families. Let's not forget those who wear many different colors other than blue who make living in our homes safer because they are guarding the night to let us sleep easier. Those who wait for the call for help to rush to the aid of those whose life will be held in their hands. Last but not least send a small prayer for those with no home who have no family and few friends but still find the courage to face a new day.
Last but never least to those whose real names we may not know but still we smile when we see them. Those who hide behind screens and brighten our lives and make us smile. To you most of all I wish you a very merry day with lots of hope and joy.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
