CapnRick​(dom male) - I'm probably preaching to the choir, but seeking out a new Dominant might be your positive step forward...Even if the first few are not an exact match, being in the chase, or being chased!, might help with those empty feelings....

DelightfullyDominant​(dom male) - What would fill your void? Feeling a bit empty when things have settled down after a flight or fight is not uncommon. Make sure you recuperate and heal from what appears to be a survival/traumatic situation that has now eased up. Move carefully, purposefully, and slowly. If needed, find yourself (domme/sub/switch/…doesn’t matter), and your center. Try to live true to who you are and find joys in life even if they are not bdsm oriented. An idle mind is the devil’s playground, as they say.

TreasureMe​(sub female){Consumed} - Firstly, I would like to say congratulations on your move and new job. I pray everything is as you wish it to be in those areas.

As far as feelings of emptiness, I think that's only found within. I personally believe in God and within that, having God fill my cup so I can give to others from the excess. But if you don't believe as I do, I would suggest finding more of yourself. Loving yourself in a way you never have. I don't think that any one person can fill that kind of void. I think for yours and your future Dominant's sake, you should achieve wholeness before pursuit. It'll only be healthier and help you avoid pain and bad experiences along your journey.
