Sadism, where does it come from???

I would like to know if you guys have alreafy researched the origins of sadism in the human nature??? It’s not me, quite the opposite. But thats something that intrigates me. How does a person begin developing those traits? Does one born with them? Or develops by some situations during childhood?
I appreciate your thoughts!!!

intrigates me the first signs of sadism.

Is a person born with that? Or its developed during lifetime?

are there already enough studies on the subject ?

is it considered a desease or not?

is there ant cure for it or the best its to become a Dom and get use to that???

i would love to receive some thoughts on that!!!

thank you very much

SirsSunrise(sub female) - Masochism is considered a disorder as well. I’m a masochist and I was born this way, and never realized it until recently. So I think for a sadist it would be similar. You like what you like, you are who you are. I don’t think of it as a disorder. It’s part of my sexuality . Pain gets me off and for me it’s a kind of foreplay.

TheAnt(dom male) - SB,
Ah the invoking of the holy DSM lol. I was trained on the IV when being gay was s disorder. So my advice is take it with a grain of salt. But, that being said, you are right on target when you state that its only a ptoblem if it interferes.

TheAnt(dom male) - CS,
I feel it us a product of both your environment (were you exposed to it while growing up) as well as something born in you. It is more like a merging if the two that makes you either "in to it" or run screaming.
There has been some studies that have shown that overbearing parents can lead to being masochistic or sadism so perhaps that was a factor.

Sir Jack Knows - As a sadist, I take its origins as natural to me. The application of it, in terms of goals, is to create the release of endorphins in the female. It's a sub-space idea, the infliction of pain for me isn't about punishment as a primary aspect, although that part does blend into the use of it at times. Other considerations are it isn't an absolute for me. It's relative to the sub/slave and needs to be customized to achieve just the right effect. It's more of an art vs a science in that regard.
