Good morning our wonderful cage family, hope you're all doing well and having a wonderful summer so far.

First off little man is growing like a weed, his vocabulary is improving and now asking for specific things. He also loves to mimic things we do. It's a joy to see. Also way to smart, he likes to lock us out of the house so thank goodness we have a key hidden for such an occasion.

Got some good news after almost 17 years. Some of you know, so I'll fill in everyone else.

Back in 2007 I was under a psychiatrist care and on about 5 different cocktails I shot myself unknowingly with a 357 magnum.

Lost my left kidney, spleen, did damage to liver, pancreas, upper and lower intestines.

Developed a hernia in my upper chest from being opened 3 times to remove bullet fragments.

In 2008 had a piece of pig skin put in my chest to repair it.

So here's the fun part in July of 2009 I started getting bad cramps on my left lower side and it was affecting my digestive system.

Seen my family doctor at the time and they took x-rays had a couple of ct scans was referred to a gi nobody could seem to figure it out. I ended up losing my job and have been having issues ever since.

Fast forward to last September and ended up at the emergency room with a urinary tract infection. While there they did a ct scan.

Had a visit with my doctor in May, first doctor to actually listen to me. Explained about the pain on my left side and getting sick after eating. He scheduled me for the surgical team.

June 22 I was ask several questions, told the doctor what I've been going through. She asked me where the pain was and I told her its on my left side and radiates to the right side.

She informed us that she had something to show us. Hazel and I where a little lost, she showed us my last ct scan from last year.

She said see that area on your left side it's a foreign object that you weren't born with, also have another one on the right side.

So I have an idea as to why have have been in pain for almost 17 years but will have to wait until August 10th to find out what is in me.

On a different note we are leaving Missouri on the fifteenth and heading to Maryland to visit Hazels family. First vacation I've had in a very long time, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

Hazels mother is not doing well and she wants to spend time with her before something happens like with my mom last year.

I will keep you updated on what mystery item they find in me. I told Hazel I'm betting on a surgical sponge.

Big hugs to all our wonderful cage family.

Love Lion, Hazel, Little man.
