If you look back through the history of women, controlling where they could go to the bathroom was a big part of social life (and still is in many places to this day!). It’s interesting because high class women would have to go off into a closet, find a quiet corner, and pee into a little vessel. IF they had somebody with them, that would hold up all of their dresses, it was crazy. If not they couldn’t be out of the house for very long. You literally had a timer on you!

Low class women? Good luck! There’s nowhere for you to go, maybe behind a building somewhere where you risk your safety. It’s insane the amount of social control that is exhibited over people and bathrooms through history. And we’re still doing it!

This is just the next phase of that, there is nothing new under the sun. This is just another step in controlling women’s bodies, how they can engage and interact with society. This has happened before and it will happen again sadly. I’m sorry that you can’t find somewhere to pee. It’s fucked up. I hope you found somewhere safe to use the bathroom!
