4 Years and a couple months ago my life changed.
Sometime in November 2021 I met my very own ButterfliesAndCuffs, right here, and nothing has been the same since.
After a few weeks we had already become best friends, in mid-December 2021 we realized and admitted that we were in love, and somewhere in there I first professed my undying fondness for a particular pair of shorts (😆). To be certain, and to make it very easy to remember, we selected January 1st, 2022 as the day our dynamic began.
4 whole years ago.
During that time we met each other's family and friends, something I was admittedly a little freaked out about beforehand. It turned out to be wonderful!
Along the way we also met, and became real-life friends with Submissive Scorpion, Fluffy Poppet, and Crimson Charm. From then on the 5 of us would be known collectively as the "Buttholes of Judgement" (a hilarious story best saved for another time.)
My B&C and I attended 5 naughty hotel takeovers, many times with our BoJ friends. Together the 5 of us celebrated birthdays, holidays, graduations, many nights of fun filled games of CAH, and a ton of laughter. (Unfortunately, Scorp never won any of those games, but not for lack of trying...🤫)
Over 4 years my B&C discovered her love of watersports (you're welcome), I increased my whip collection (4 now!), an impromptu task turned into a crazy awesome thing, and a bathtub recording exploded into something amazing! We have virtually tripled our combined number of toys, have become a well known and just as highly regarded couple at our local dungeon, and we sort of "appropriated" a spiderweb.
There are many, many other things that have made the past 4 years amazing, the majority of which happened while we were together.
We have many times written and posted blog entries right here about all that, so today, on the occasion of our 4th anniversary, I will just add this:
To my B&C - I love you more today than I did when this whole weird thing began. You are my sub, partner, best friend, the person who makes me laugh more than anyone I've ever known, and the love of my life.
So, y'know, deal with it. It doesn't mean we're married or anything.
