Anybody else noticing a sudden increase of scammer activity here on the cage? It was about once a month I would get some strange unusual text message here, now it is far more often.
Got one today, won't state the name (da rulez), other than to say it was to a barely filled out profile, just a few days old, that belonged to a very sexual young lady in her early 20's. Why of course she was just messaging me out of the blue ... lol, why wouldn't she?
So I was bored in a slow day at work, and thought hey ... see how far they'll take it. So I replied, and then it turned on, message after message, finally a message about texting her off site. So i fired up the ol whatsapp (anonymous phone number) and sent er (him, them, who?) a message. naturally within minutes they wanted to fly to see me,,, of course, oh, and her equally young and sexual GF BFF was coming along! Well of course they were! It went on and on, got more and more elaborate, even scheduling certain days to visit.. sure!
And then it happened .... I asked for a quick selfie headshot with her holding up four fingers. Got one with a peace sign, mentioned it was supposed to be four fingers, got a promise to FO, and a few other choice words, then POOF! Fast as they came, they left, off to greener pastures I suppose!
