'After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security,

And you begin to learn that kisses are not contracts and presents are not promises,

And you begin to accept defeats with your head up and eyes open, with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child,

And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrows ground is too uncertain for plans.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much.

So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you can learn to really endure...

That you are strong,

And really do have worth.

And you learn and learn…

With every good-bye you learn.

Some beautiful words written by some one else (two authors claim it), in the insightfulness is amazing - drawn on their own experience I guess. We all do not know what tomorrow will bring, every day is different, relationships come and go, some are good some are bad and some are challenging. In this lifestyle we will experience them all. We are given ourselves as raw clay, our experiences mould and create us all the time our misfortunes, humiliations, mistakes - our successes, gains and strengths, each day we a subtly altered, but deep down is you and important person, your consciousness, spark of life. As an individual the need to be valued is important but first we must value ourselves, whether you are: littlie, slave, masochist, slave, submissive, the list goes on, you must first search your self find your value and strength. At this point I feel at this point is when you can start looking seeking. But ultimately you must be honest with your self, happiness is got built over night it is worked upon by both parties over time - if someone does not wish to commit time in developing bonds and commitment ask your self what are they there for.
