This one is NOT about food

*Ahem* Okay, so let's all take a deep breath and a small moment. I made this blog with the intention of making a post. Instead of creating a blog about ME, I made it with the sole intention of telling people about a small victory I achieved in an average everyday life experience.

So I'm here once again to say "Let's get this RIGHT". If you couldn't tell I enjoy food, so there will be moments where I share a mistake I made in the kitchen or a success. But that's not all I'm about.

I'm not a social media guy, I got rid of Facebook, didn't want instagram, said screw it to snapchat, refused tik tok and don't get me started on dating apps.... But I wanted to reach out and create something for myself and those around me who might gain some knowledge or better themselves from an experience I've had. (Yes, I still plan on talking about food. Just not the whole time.)

So Round 2, FIGHT!!!!

Okay screw this.... I want to show a few more photos.

Alright, I will press pause here and just say that I really don't even know what I picked hahaha. But just a few photos that I managed to grab from the side of the hill.

I actually can't even tell which images I'm grabbing, and technically I started at the bottom and have been working my way up...

This is the first place we NEEDED both hands to climb up... My buddy managed with his giant backpack, but we made sure to share the burden on the way down.

So I actually DID snap a photo of our beast!!! This is him, and he is an absolute mammoth.

Ingénue{VK} - I like mountains but I like mountain cabins even more. Looks like you're having good journeys.

MstrJ(dom male){~ENM~} - It was definitely a lot of fun, and we enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately as far as I'm aware there isn't a cabin on that trail but I know what you mean. Mountain cabins are truly delightful.

slaveMikayla(sub female){MstrJ } - I think my favorite was the one shim you snuck into the crevice of the larger boulder. It was almost poetic how it was holding up the whole rest of the structure from supposedly a weakness turned into a strength. There is something to be said there. Similarly to how you wrote about a solid foundation not always being apparent. ;) apropos imagery.

MstrJ(dom male){~ENM~} - Well the really interested part about Inukshuks is in how you get to balance them for sure. You actually pin down the supports from the weight on top. So we had to be really careful when laying the stones on top. I think it took us over an hour. To fully build that guy.

We did an amazing job actually and it does look very very good. But I am also really glad you could take a little meaning from the way it was constructed. We thought it looked really cool, but there is also meaning behind it if you choose to wax philosophical. I would really love to be able to show it to you one day.
