What's Going On?

"I wake in the morning and I step outside I take a deep breath and I get real high I scream from the top of my lungs..."
My blog is me naked, vulnerable, and honest.

I would love the input from any of the vets out there, please. This lifestyle is the most amazingly beautiful fantasy for me, I ache tremendously to live it. The more I discover, the wetter my panties get.

It all started by reading erotica books/novels/series. Then last summer, I was blessed with the good fortune of  chatting with a man who opened my eyes to a world I never knew existed. From the first chat with this man, I wanted only him and I wanted him to be who would transform me into this perfect sub made for only him. He lives in California, I live in Kansas. Both of us are not financially able to travel to meet and carry out my training. I have considered the option of being trained by a different Dom, but I only crave the man whom I have learned so much from already.

I recently started reading an erotica novel that is about a sub training camp where the new subs have to perform scenes with a Dom selected by the trainers. They are taught the proper body language and the ways to answer a Dom, etc. Anyway, the main character and one if the trainers have a secret unsaid yearning for each other (which is forbidden). He gives her a protection collar to keep the other Dom's at Bay until training is over.

My question is....Is it better to be properly trained by a man whom the sub has chosen to be her permanent Dom? Or is it better to be trained by more of a teacher-Dom...one that will turn you into a sub that only the luckiest Dom will have her.

Wanth3realov3(other male) - I would think that the person that can be or make the means nessary to be the dom on your life IDK you or trying to offer but there has to be a better way than waiting on a man that will never come right I had a like dom lover and she passed away befor I could get another chance to show her what she had taught me made a difference so it's important to show the dom or sub what's what before the chance is gone right.

_Cut_(masochist female) - The best advice I've ever seen on this was from another site, (but what works for one person may not work for another, so honestly it is up to you and how you feel about it) the advice being, when you are new to the scene, with all of the intense emotions and everything there is to learn, it is best to not be emotionally attached to the person training you. It is easy to misplace feelings in these situations and for those feelings to become something more akin to obsession. (Truly not implying that is what this is, but from personal experience, it has been my experience) I wish I had read that bit of advice earlier in my experience with bdsm.

MsNevermore(other female) - Everyone has started out and gotten to the point they are differently. Yes, there are those who train and are trained with the understanding it is for educational purposes. Be forewarned though its just like anything else in life, the training or habits you take from one may not be applicable in the next D/s relationship.
Reading through some of your posts I see you are very new, we all were at some point and have a trail of bread crumbs in as much our failures as our successes.
The key I have found to a great foundation is knowledge of self. Who you are, why and how. Knowing what your needs, desires and even short comings are. Set boundaries and limits to start with. They are never set in stone but will force you to take appropriate sized steps into this ever deepening pool we call lifestyle.
You sound like you are on the right path just don't get caught up in the dream of the erotica fiction you read. I love the Beauty Series but after 15+ years in the lifestyle it has never been that. It has been more in some aspects on any emotional level. It also has been a lot of work. Mostly in figuring out what and why of who I am.
I wish you well and offer any help I may have if you ever need it.
