Upon someone pointing out that sometimes scenes in movies we watched when we were younger match up with our adult kinks and fantasies, I’ve been reflecting on some similar memories from my childhood and come to the conclusion that I definitely should have seen this coming.
Between watching the torture scene in The Princess Bride on repeat (and hardcore wishing I was Westley) to the almost torture scene in Monster’s Inc, or the hypnosis scene in The Jungle Book, and certainly the frequent scenario in which my dolls found themselves being tied up and threatened by other dolls.
Has anyone else noticed similar memories? I would love to hear them!
