Bdsm and spirituality
The art of spirituality is something you have to dig deep within yourself to uncover. To find the hidden meanings and veiled truths to the inner you that is waiting just underneath the surface. Meditation and contemplation are great tools to stripping away the unseen filth that clouds your true self...your real self. The inner you is not something that you can find outside of yourself, it must be sought after from within. Bdsm is rather similar to this extension of spirituality. Finding one’s dominance or submissiveness or any part of themselves starts with a journey inwards. Domination is an art of mind, body and soul. A dominant learns how to control them self and what it means to take control of their inner self before they take control of their outer self and before they control another person. To understand why a dominant enjoys the feel of that control and that domination, is something that can only be found from within. Sometimes it is found when doing the act of domination. The same goes for a submissive. Why the submissive feels the desire to submit or to why they feel desire to be dominated is something that is found inside of themselves and often is understood with being dominated. The road to self understanding is a long on, both spirituality and bdsm share this in common.
