This workshop gives clinicians, medical providers, coaches, social workers, and other professionals practical, trauma-informed tools for supporting kinky clients, including inclusive care, risk assessment, consent education, and BDSM terminology to distinguish healthy dynamics from coercion, exploitation, or self-harm. It covers sensory and regulation tools, navigating triggers, exploring authentic roles and headspaces, recovery after play, and ways to integrate BDSM into healing without pathologizing clients. Participants will also learn office exercises, how to create affirming spaces and reach their ideal audience, where to find client resources, and how mandatory reporting intersects with confidentiality.
