Bondage suggestions for a sub with chronic back pain.

See topic subject.

Are there any particular harnesses that work well for someone who experiences sharp chronic back pain? I'm fine with experimenting and will just be trying some different things on my own that work with my sub but I'm specifically looking for different things that can restrict the chest or waist without putting any tension on the lumbar bones.

Definitely not a "rigger" But as a "riggee" I have to say that with chronic back pain, which is one of the most difficult if not impossible musculoskeletal disorders to remedy, that you might just have to accept that many aspects of BDSM, especially bondage play-- might be something you'll just have to do without.

The last thing you want is to exacerbate your back issues to a point where your mobility and overall ability to function on a day-to-day basis is even more compromised.

In other words, while the "riggers" in here may have ideas I didn't think of, in general, I'd say avoid everything that "annoys" your back.

Years ago I had a friend who wanted to practice his rope binding on me. As I have a tricky back I found wearing my corset gave me the support I needed while he did his ties. I don't now if this would work for you and your situation.

there are various way to restrain someone without putting undue stress on the back and shoulders. But some of the more extreme(and Lovely) ties are out of the question, no Strappado, hogties, reverse prayer and probably several more are out. So is most suspension. Vertical suspensions are still possible( with multiple support points along the body and legs and don't forget to support the head.)

chair ties and floor ties are still an option. We used to incorporate my back brace into the scenes.

I'm sure I'm forgetting alot.

Hope this helps.

If the back pain is caused by an abnormal disc displacement, the use of a bondage rack might be beneficial, or one of those "Teeter" contraptions people use to hang upside down.
I wouldn't experiment with anything without consulting a spinal column specialist first.
