There are lots of things that can be made at home with inexpensive things that are easy to get. My favourites are power cords, phone cables and window spline.
The most kinky thing about them is this. Having your sub make the flogger herself under your direction. That is a true expression of submission. |

Years ago I found an old shoulder-bag on the ground somewhere that had a very long shoulder strap that appeared to be suede. The bag was un-usable so I took it home, cut the shoulder strap into pieces of equal length and ended up with around a half dozen tails. I joined one end of the tails together with a length of 18 gage copper baling wire. I cut the end off an old ruined broomstick, drilled a hole through the center and stuffed the joined tails down into that hole, cemented in with epoxy resin. It is still one of my favorite floggers, but the tails are only about a foot long.
Through the years, several cheap, thin leather belts have broken, but I cut them up and made each one into a strap for ass whoopin'. I also have and old piece of thin-wall rubber hose that used to be used for automotive vacuum. It is very flexible and gives a good thud. |

Electric chord has been used by many. I've made and sold floggers of rope, leather, rope and leather. Got the leatherboff a couch, all stapled to a basic wooden down overplayed with rope and electrical tape for grip.
Other things that could be used from around the house: Whisc, spatula, large spoon, feather duster, litter scoop, any wire from electrical devices, laces, frying pan |
