Solace,

By the way I neglected to give my thoughts on The Cage writing something specifically addressing those that send cock pics to people who didn't ask for them or agree to having a cock sent to them.

Someone stated maybe a couple of someone's stated that it is illegal to send cock pics. I don't know about that.

What I do know is there will always be people who do things that the other person did not consent to, unsolicited cock pics being one.

A more in depth writing explaining how this is nonconsensual may help some folks.
They may never have looked at the subject as being an issue of consent. They in turn may teach someone else.

One may could say that people who need to read this rule should not be here, but then again maybe they don't have any education when it comes to what kink is about. They may be flying with faulty knowledge, theu may benefit from a little bit of light reading.

I'mME,

Irrelevant. What a person should know and what a little light reading can do is not community rules. Which why I rejected the magazine article earlier as community rules. I know from my parents, and manners learned outside the family that its not acceptable to call strangers on the street by rancid names. However, I certainly can call strangers on the street by rancid names, it is not forbidden and the U.S. constitution would uphold my right to freedom of speech. In this case, my "light reading" would be mismatched the reality that calling people names is allowed even if it won't earn me many friends.

A magazine that discusses how non solicited nudity is a breach of consent would just be a discussion rag. Opposition might even reply with a perfectly valid argument that opening a message is consent to viewing its contents. The same way going to a person profile and being greeted with egregious nudity is. We don't like this argument because frankly we don't want profane surprises, but its as valid as ones computer asking "Are you sure" before you download something. The only thing that matters are the rules of the space, the owners have the final say.

So for the love of anything anyone holds dear, just put it as a law. Write it into a the code of conduct. I am only pointing out that the laws of this space do not forbid this action, and frankly should among others. If moderators can or do punish it, it should be in the code of conduct. Just like every other government, company or institution. The lack of rules about this is the code of conduct frankly should mean the people who send unsolicited nudes are protected in this space, but we know that's not the case because the moderator in this thread said they are punished. Its like slapping your sub for a rule you tell them after the fact. People however seem very upset at the idea formal drawn out contracts and rules.

In the UK the act of sending a dick pic is called Cyber Flashing, the proposed punishment is up to two years in prison, and online platforms face severe sanctions if they fail to deal with these issues/crimes.

The bill regarding this is being discussed currently in parliament, its part of the ‘online safety bill’, and while the specific crime of cyber flashing is new, there are other laws that cover sending unwanted sexual images - ‘ That is not to say that you are not committing a criminal offence if you send, or repeatedly send unsolicited images. If there were two or more images sent and the recipient claims to have been caused fear or distress as a result, then you could be investigated and possibly charged with an offence of harassment. Under the Malicious Communications Act it can be an offence to send a message which is ‘grossly offensive, or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character’. There is an argument to say that unsolicited sexual images could be seen as being ‘obscene’ and therefore charges could be pursued under this legislation.’ (https://www.olliers.com/news/is-sending-unsolicited-images-illegal-olliers-solicitors/)

I can’t speak for other parts of the world, but its clear that UK based Cage members sending such images are covered by UK law already to a degree and will be specifically in a new way soon, as will online platforms.

I've only been exploring the lifestyle for just over a year now, and found that people believe their cock attracts a sub. Which may be true for those subs into sex only...

But what is the difference between Porn and BDSM?

To me, someone who only feel sex, dream sex, do sex and life for sex will be a fan of looking at porn. More cock orientated... No offence intended...

But BDSM, like I see it, is no different that a vanilla relationship with the exception that partners are equal or relatively equal in vanilla relationships.

In BDSM, the 1 partner is Dominant either a Dom, Master, Daddy, Owner, etc and the other partner is submissive either a sub, slave, little/baby/mid, pet, etc.

Any relationship may it be vanilla or lifestyle is a give and take.

Dominant gives (authority) the sub respond and accepts/takes this authority. The sub gives submission and the Dominant becomes the leader/Dom in the relationship.

LoL.. I'll never look at turkey necks the same again.
Regarding the unwanted penial, genital, dick pics ( I think I covered the common terms). Unfortunately most view interactions as a race to, " The Golden Goblet of Pussy.", instead of trying to have a real conversation.
They primal drive and instant gratification train tends to run full steam ahead filled with monkeys howling and slinging shyt, hoping something sticks. Sometimes it does and because it worked once, they do it again and again.
Due to the inability to have a sound conversation, they run to the emergency box on the wall breaking the glass that has a dic pic in it. Simply delete and move on. Should negative comments ensue, delete and block.
There's a man-child, lurking at almost every corner.
After awhile, you'll be able to weed them out..

Iron World,.

People who have reasoning skills, I hope would realize that they may see some nudity when visiting other peoples profile page.

The key difference is... Blah blah blah

A. I never said I had nudity in my profile. Only that it was a dick pic.
B. The internet does not exist to be your safe space.

From what I understand, the dick pick phenomenon is across any social platform that has any sort of dating component to it, and even those that don't. I have only had two instances of this happening to me (on Fet) but I am male, identifying as hetero, so I know it's only the tip (bad choice of words) of the iceberg compared to what women have to endure. It is completely unacceptable.

Are the men that do this really members of the BDSM community, or do they just think that BDSM sites mean easy sex? And do they actually think that it is an effective strategy for courting? I find that difficult to believe, but then again...

These are rhetorical questions but anyone is welcome to hazard a guess. I am often flummoxed by this.

for example I saw that Misogyny is not allowed despite being well embedded in some kink circles and yet it says nothing of Misandry.

I think that misandry is covered by this listing:

Quote: Community Standards
We expect all users of THE CAGE to adhere to our community standards, all of which directly inform our approach to community moderation (see below). Our community standards apply across the site, while moderation decisions are also informed by context.

YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO ASK A QUESTION BEFORE WRITING A SMART ASS REPLY TO SOMEONE.

YOU:
I never said I had nudity in my profile.

ME:
People who have reasoning skills, I hope would realize that they may see some nudity when visiting other peoples profile page.

I DID NOT WRITE THAT YOU HAD NUDITY ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE.

This is called a generalized statement.

YOU:
Only that it was a dick pic.

What you actually originally wrote was..

[My dick pic is the first image on my profile.]

Exactly where do I put you down or insult you in my post?

YOU:
The internet does not exist to be your safe space.[/quote]

Where did this come from? I need you to explain it . Here is my recap of what occurred
.you read my comment , didn't understand it, made up stuff and wrote how you feel about what you made up that I wrote.
I should have explained the blah blah part but what I wrote did not insult you ..
I do not understand how you could even write that BS to me, that was your takeaway from what I wrote.

You are CONFUSED thinking I need a safe space or would ever whine about a safe space. Purely made-up conjecture .... On your part.

Let me add that it is obvious that you did not comprehend what I wrote at all, but instead of just asking me a question , you went for a "put me in my place" type rhetoric.......

I don't have a place, other than being a human just like you.
It makes me exhausted to see someone who considers themselves a Dom write nonsense like this.

However I am not the person to sit on the side not standing up for myself when someone tries to change what I was writing about.

Now I'm going to just let things sit like they are. Bc this is a waste of my good energy.
