Congrats on getting sober from that amount of liquor CelloTrance! I detoxed myself cold Turkey 5 months ago, from drinking minimum a 375 ml bottle and max a 5th per day at my worst tolerance. Started the same day as I started a new job no less, and to add more insanity-factor we had just moved 1000 miles with a 3 month old baby plus our toddler😂

but I didn’t have seizures or anything- I was already taking kratom so that plus cannabis helped me maintain, plus being on the move 8 hours a day at work and then multiple hours with the kids helped me burn off energy. Oh and the biggest one- pounding pussy at least twice a day lol! My wife likes getting came in multiple times daily already but she was blown away by how my libido got even higher…she will gladly let a young sub help her with these energy levels😂

Eating plenty of protein has helped too…I just strive for an overall healthy lifestyle. Being outside with the kids is more mentally & physically fulfilling for me than tv or TikTok or anything like that ☀️ best of luck to everyone working on sobriety and health! and I hope that subs get the enforcement they need (wether about diet, staying sober etc) from their Doms, and that Doms use the discipline skills we use on our subs on ourselves as well, to be better examples for them.

oh man, God bless you, dude on your lifestyle choices. I was very, very blessed with my sobriety. I had a lot of help from God with it. I wasn't tempted at all. I also eat a lot of protein and have high protein vegetable powders that I add to my drinks, please keep in touch

God bless you too- I had tons of help from the “highest level Dom in the universe” as well🔥🙏💪🏻Prayer truly worked miracles during detox- look at any medical website and it’ll say that at more than 8 or 10 drinks a day you would have DTs and fatal seizures from cold Turkey. They say it’s impossible…well guess what, I didn’t drop dead in front of my coworkers or while making love with my wife so I’ll keep believing God not the rehab industry where almost nobody actually stays sober after. Without somebody to get kinky with, the WDs would suck tbh, but the sex and spiritual insights make it worth it!

Good question.. Our foods in America are full of chemicals, additives, that aren't allowed in other countries. Hormones being added to many food products, birth control for chickens was found in Chic- Fil-let. Antibiotics as well.
Food colorings. This is a large part of the medical conditions on the rise that have not been issued before. A broken healthcare system, the list is endless.

Water is very important, filter it, if you are on city water or there is reason to suspect ground contamination , affecting your well.

3 things I never ever ingest, though one I do miss occasionally , meaning I missed it on the label it goes under several names.
Sugar and butter substitutes , never. The 3rd is high fructose corn syrup, lol, but they have gotten creative, so have to keep up w things..

Label reading is interesting activity, I've been doing it since 2000.

Meat is important, find meat from a place that doesn't add shots, hormones, antibiotics, etc to the animals.

I also believe in moving, whenever you can.

i wish i could understand this statement. Water tastes vile to me without some flavoring in it. Tea, Coffee, Mio or other sugar/calorie free flavor shot/electrolyte powder. i have heard statements similar to those all my life, and i just can't understand how people can think that drinking metal tastes good or refreshing in any way.
(Edited to add, it does not matter how many times you filter the water, that nasty taste of the water itself is still there.)

Turns out that some people with AuDHD have more sensitive taste buds, and can taste the things in the food/water that most people don't register. i am not crazy, and i am not lying when i say that water is nasty alone for me. i drink between 64 and 80 ounces of flavored water a day. Take my flavoring away and that will drop to zero.

It's difficult to get healthy, when half the corners of your mind are 100% against that. Calorie counting? Turns a meal that might have costed one spoon to make/eat, into a 4 spoon process. By the time i get it logged, likely don't have the energy to force it down. Net Carb counting with Keto worked better, but fuck me, restrictive diets are a mind-fuck. Oh, but, when it comes to food we can't really do moderation either. So, restrictive diets work better for the part of my brain that can't regulate itself. When your brain battles against you constantly... sometimes it just seems like Sisyphus.

Apologies for what i think might have been a bit of a derailment. ^.^

Okay, so I worked in the US extensively in my 20s and water was vile.

I grew up in the Midlands of the UK- water there was also vile. We had filters etc and it still never tasted right. It also felt heavy - thick and solid somehow? Definitely metallic. It was a region where the water was heavy in minerals and left kettles, dishwashers and washing machines caked in limescale.

I moved to Wales for uni. The water came direct from local springs lower in mineral content. It tasted like heaven. The water was soft, cold and comforting. Like a completely different drink. I'm lucky now to live in Devon in the South, where rhe water is similar.

Ps. ADHD but not autistic but I have a super sense of taste and smell. Like every different person has a unique smell and, if blindfolded, I can tell you who had walked into the room just by the smell of them. I wonder if it's linked to ND?

Yeah, it's scary. What is being done to our food. Sometimes I wonder if the food industry and the medical industry are working hand-in-hand… Who knows? I'm not in on the monthly meetings.

What I do know is as individuals we have to do everything we can to educate ourselves . It's important to seek and find the best possible way to live, not only for ourselves but for those we love

I mainly buy organic vegetables and I really like the powders that I add to my water. They become almost a meal in itself. Anyway, thank you so much for responding

I agree with what you said about water, but I don't think my taste buds are nearly as sensitive as yours. But that's why I add things like cacao powder, organic mushroom coffee, organic chocolate flavored protein powders, super green powders... etc

I think my brain is wired completely completely different than yours. I've never been a calorie counter. I've never been a very excessive thinker either. I'm more of an Intuitive feeling type person. That's what works with my music

What I do is just mainly eat organic vegetables both raw and cooked. It's what works for me. I also really like those nuts and seeds that I have.. I think the important thing is what works for you as an individual.

I do the carnivore diet and intermittent fasting and consume no sugars or grains or seed oils. I also do CrossFit workouts 5 days a week. I’m probably more on the extreme side of things but once that autophagy kicks in after 16 hours of fasting your body is burning stored fat. You’ll sleep better and clear up brain fog. It’s amazing.

That's cool. I've heard of intermittent fasting, but never done it, but I also don't eat nearly as much as I used to. I'm very very happy with my routine now. Everybody needs to find what works for them though. Thank you for responding.

I also do extreme stuff like Ironman triathlons, go skydiving over Antarctica and climb 26,000 foot mountains. But moderation for a normal person is what works best.
