Silent Observations

Just my random thoughts as I try to learn and grow

I have struggled to find time for rope for the last couple of days and to me it shows in my lack of creativity and finesse.

Today I had multiple ideas for objectification and was frustrated at my other attempts. I might keep them up my sleeve for the next round if I make it that far. So I went for something simple being a study desk. Sitting in a bridge pose with my shoulders and head on a pillow, forcing me to keep my hips level to keep the laptop stable.  This tie was lazy and I was frustrated but I still got it done. Felt a bit like a chore today rather than something of pleasure

Tomorrow it is back to feet for round two.

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - Is the book helpful? I'm cautious of purchasing books if I've not seen them to know. School is in my way right now for a couple more weeks. I'll share later some of my past ties.
The leg part gives me an idea for myself.

Starlight82(other female) - For me the book is helpful. I would best describe it as a foundations book. It starts with the standard knots required and then follows with different category base ties. Pictures are in black and white if thats an issue for you. So I'd say it depends on your current level as to whether you would find it useful or not. If you know the foundations then maybe not so useful but for me its a good reference guide and I can build upon what is there.
