Granted, the last one was just the dress shirt challenge, but it had content! May not be content people want to see, and I apologize for any lingering damage my dad bod may have caused to you! Told you I was keeping that, my loyal reader. But yeah! My weekend was awesome. The Titans won, mainly because I wore my lucky shirt. But it was a win!! And it was such a fun game to be at, even if the seats weren’t the best. But aside from that, it was just a good weekend. A lot of happy vibes and some good conversation with some good people. Makes the heart happy, ya know?
Wait, is it really a new topic? I have talked about my weekend a lot lately. So... Old Topic? Moving on!

I’m sitting here on lunch, watching the rain slowly trickle down my office window. Another rainy day. I love it. Today is a bit cold though. So THAT isn’t an ideal mix. Had to put on a hoodie. So now my work attire is a black zip up hoodie and boxers. Because I have standards. And no one making ne wear pants.
I digress. Back to the rain. As I watch the rain run down, because, you know, gravity (that’s science, dear reader!), it puts me in a fun head space today. My mind is going to the geekier side of my personality. The rain drops are giving me ideas for maps and rivers and even potential story concepts for my D&D group. I’m the DM (Dungeon Master to those of you luckily enough to be having sex instead of playing make believe back in high school), so it is my job and responsibility to create the world for my players. And I love it.
Of course I can use the official content and play that way, but there is something so satisfying about build an entire world. Maps, races, wars, animals, religions, politics, even weather. I’m slowly building the world that I will base all my future games in, but to populate an entire world and make that a reality takes time. But it is so worth it.
If you hadn’t noticed, I tell stories. I love using words to paint pictures to bring out emotion and make you see and feel what I see and feel in my minds eye. And sure, the setting for that is usually fantasy based or horror based. But it’s a wonderful talent to have. Hell, it helped improve my sexual talents as well because now I can sext like a boss. But again, I digress.
Words are a powerful tool. And so many people use them for so many things, some good, some bad, some just purely... weird. Which is part of the beauty of it. And isn’t the beauty in the world what it’s all about anyway? It is more me at least. Finding something small, seeing the beauty behind it. And letting it take your mind to new places.
