As I once said " The armor is rusted the sword dull and warped. The once great stead is now out in the pasture tired and grey. The once great knight now sits in his chair watching the fire waiting for the last battle to be played out before his days are done. He waits for the black night wondering if he will make a final challenge or just walk away with him." They days where we would charge into battle are gone. The fights we once thought just are now so gray and dark it is hard to find the right in all the wrong. Once I tried to teach my young ones the art of the sword and bow but i was told they would never need it and I should stop dreaming of old day and embrace the new.
Now the only call to war I get is on a screen and in years and lands so long ago time has forgotten them. Search dear lady search well maybe someday we will be remembered and the blade taken up again for those whose call I can no longer hear. Just beware of those who hear your call because dust will cover up the white and the black armor just as well. Look not to the armor but to the heart and see what it is that rides to your call.
Be well Dear Lady

Interesting fact for you which is slightly related, it used to be that calling someone "a knight in shining armor" was considered an insult, because such a knight had never had his mettle tested in battle, and was afraid that he would be injured.
which is a bit off message from your original purpose, but I am sure you will find someone Rose :)
Keep your eyes peeled.

Come to think of it I have never seen armor that was battle tested bright or shiny. It was dirty scratched and dented and I loved them

Sure if the nobility in question had enough money they would have a suit of ceremonial armor, kind of like modern military have dress uniforms, for formal occasions and the actual uniform on the field
