Leather Family - A Leather Family is a term coming from and dating back to the first Leather Groups formed from the Leather Gay Pride Culture, a more modern times it is become more a term used by a Group of Leather Kinkster who have chosen to come together to form a tighter connections with other individuals who they feel a deeper connection with. These families can form around an Individual or a couple who "serve" as a the patriarchy and or matriarchy of the family. These Individual also can help to serve as guides, mentors, and or play partners. The family can be small or large as along as the Individuals involved are all on the same page. I myself have have not been in a formal one for sometime, but over the years I been in them and seen the power of having a very close knit group of fellow kinksters that can help me from to time to time to see things in a new light.- onyx

For me Leather gave me what I was missing. A family unit that excepted everyone, I smile today.. the land of misfit tossed away souls.
