The Culture that has been here all the time

When I studied to acquire my Master's status I discovered the M/S relationship existed probably for all the history of humans. Religion and Western Culture distort this greatly. Using codes and euphemisms even denial masks it presents the fact many people thrive within this often unrecognized subculture. For example, my wife had all the earmarks of a pleasure slave and was generally devoted and submissive to me. In times of marriage friction, I often heard the words from a counselor, "She just wants you to love her" "Love her" I thought I was and did now I know without a doubt I need to be a master, not some preconceived idea we are to live as equals.

Dear Readers, I now know I have lived way too long. Too old to be a rebel voice against tyranny and betrayal. What seemed to begin in the 1960s with movements to benefit people everywhere has now ended. It has ended in an evil vortex intent on undoing the good that was created. It is such a shame so many people have died for the betterment of humanity (especially during the twentieth century), and now it seems like such a waste. I have nothing more to say or add. I hope you all have a good life somehow. I had it for a time, and now it is rapidly disintegrating. James

MountaintopMaster - I have dealt with similar feelings here and there, and each time, I conclude that there's still so much for me to do and see in this world.

We must continue to exist as forces for good. The feelings and realizations you are having right now, in my opinion, only prove that the world needs you to carry on, share your wisdom, over and over again sometimes, no matter what. The world needs thinkers. The world needs wisdom. The world needs a heart. Even in the face of cruelty and evil, it is only more important, then!

Steellover(sub male) - I would agree that we are all experiencing dark times right now. I wish I could give words of encouragement here. I have had the same thoughts the last few days. The only thing we can do to push back the darkness is to be kind to each other, and continue to speak out against the hate and vitriol that seems to be so normalized. If enough people fail to do this, then they will win.
