I am grateful for my abusive childhood.
I am grateful for my substance addictions.
I am grateful for all the death ive seen, lost loved ones.
I am grateful for all the possessions ive lost due to theft.
I am grateful for all the times my heart was broken.
I am grateful for the storms.
I am grateful for all the times I was dragged through the mud.
I am grateful for all the times I was betrayed.
I am grateful for the darkness.
I am grateful for my periods of near starvation.
I am grateful for all the times I was abandoned.
I am grateful for all my lonely times.
I am grateful for my pain.
Gratitude truly changed, and probably even saved my life. So yeah, thank you ?
