The handfasting/collaring being held at our place is coming up this weekend. Some things are coming into place--- the housekeeper and the person able to deliver groceries are all confirmed..
My beloved has been working on getting the garden cut back for pathways for the ceremony.
The sous chef has had to bow out . That's not actually a surprise. Just means more on us.
I'm a little bit more excited than I have been. But the swamp cooler is working now so that could be part of why. Everything in life is easier when you're not sweating your tits off.
The Internet is still down so I can't post anything for school. This has been a disaster this semester. Everything was fine until tonight when a bunch of stuff was due and sure enough they never did show up to fix the Internet. So a bunch of emails and calls had to go out.
The van has a cracked head gasket . So we're refinancing the house to buy a car. Everything was going lovely until I almost lit the kitchen on fire trying to get the Chinese 5 spice to spell the house nice...
Just a side note for anybody who doesn't work in a kitchen don't take Chinese 5 spice and put it in a toaster oven. It will light on fire... So when the appraiser got there Our house smelled like burnt Chinese food...
Wonder if that increases or decreases the appraisal amount???
The fridge is on the fritz and the oven is broken. I think they're working in tandem.
But there is good news.
