Happy Spring CAGE! 

We've heard you!  Over the past week or so we've received numerous inquiries regarding the removal of our Personals section from THE CAGE. The decision came as a surprise and disappointment to many of you and we are very sorry to have removed this popular feature with no forewarning. We fully understand the frustration expressed by those who found it useful or simply enjoyed browsing the ads.

The removal was necessitated by a compliance survey aimed at ensuring adherence to the strict regulations set forth by credit card companies. Negotiating the legal landscape and seeking compatible collaborators poses considerable challenges for any platform. Introducing BDSM elements further complicates matters.

With fewer payment options, higher commissions, and the need to remain vigilant in the face of ever-evolving regulations, the path to compliance becomes increasingly challenging. This is why similar websites are scarce; the hurdles are substantial.

We're not the first to confront such a dilemma. Craigslist notably removed its Personals section in 2018 due to new legislation on human trafficking enacted by the U.S. Congress. 

While we acknowledge the frustration this situation has caused for many of you, we see it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. We're already hard at work developing a new and more exciting alternative to help you find your kinky match.

To our Premium members, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Your contributions are vital for our sustenance, growth, and enhancement. If you haven't yet upgraded to Premium, we encourage you to consider doing so, not only to enjoy all that we have to offer but also to contribute to our collective growth and progress.

The past year has been filled with fun and great conversation! Together, we've delved into many kinky topics in our Discussion Forum and through our Magazine articles. We hope that you've relished exploring your kinks, sharing your insights, and experience.

In 2023, we also introduced THE CAGE Kinky Proust Questionnaire, an engaging series featuring prominent figures in the kink community, including co-author of The Ethical Slut, Janet W. Hardy, and kink educator Evie Lupine. It's been wonderful bringing these notable personalities to THE CAGE community.

AND - can you believe it? Premium members, this year marks our first full year of voice and video calling.  We hope you've enjoyed connecting with fellow members in this way, fostering deeper connections, and having more kinky fun, all without ever leaving the warm and cozy CAGE environment!

As we step into 2024, if you're not yet a Premium member, we'd love for you to consider taking your journey to the next level by upgrading. Not only will you enjoy many new and enhanced features, but it's also a great way to deepen your connection to the amazing BDSM community we've built together. Subscribing not only enriches your experience but also plays a pivotal role in supporting and sustaining THE CAGE—a space free from ads or commercial promotions.
