Premium members can now enjoy unlimited video and voice calls, easily engaging with friends new and old without ever leaving THE CAGE. By video and voice chatting on THE CAGE, you'll never have to worry about sharing your outside contact details until it's right for you. Not a Premium member? No problem! It's easy and affordable to upgrade and get video or voice calling right away.

Ready to make your first video or voice call? Great! Let's walk you through how it works.
Before calling another Premium user you must grant and request permission for calls.
GRANT PERMISSION TO CALL
To grant others permission to call you simply visit a profile, click on the "settings" icon under a user's name and toggle "Allow to call" to on. You can revoke this permission at any time.
REQUEST PERMISSION TO CALL
To request permission to call another user contact them via BOND instant messenger or CAGE Mail and ask them to grant you permission.
MAKE A VIDEO OR VOICE CALL
Once permission is granted click the video camera icon under a user's name on their profile. You can also call another Premium user by clicking on the camera icon in BOND.
Don't worry if you aren't quite ready to engage in a video call. The video camera is off by default until you decide to turn it on. One or both users can have the camera activated during a call.
MANAGING YOUR ALLOW TO CALL LIST
You can see your allowed callers in your Preferences under the Privacy tab. Select a name and click on the "x" to remove someone from your callers list. You can also revoke call permissions by toggling "Allow to call" to off in a user's profile settings.
HAVING ISSUES?
If your device is not allowing you to make a call please make sure you have granted permission to your microphone and your camera. Camera permission is required even if you only intend to make a voice call.
