I was talking to a friend, last night, about the hole BDSM thing, and she mentioned that rock climbing is quite erotic (indoor rock climbing that is. With real life rock climbing the cold and the fear of imminent death possibly kills the mood). Theres ropes and all kinds of "restraints" and leather things. It might be a poor substitute for real rigging, but has anyone tried it, just curies.
Record / CD shop in Bath today, I bought three vinyl records: The kinks, Chuck Berry and Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Kid Creole is one of the things that I like but I feel that I shouldn't, but actually they are very good. I am not really sure how you would define them in terms of era.

So some someone asked the question what animal would you most like to be so I, of cause, over thought it to the point that it was not any fun any more. I am 58 years old. If I was a domestic cat I would have been dead for over forty years (plus I do not think I could eat a mouse). Garilers live up to 45, so I would still be dead for a while. A giant turtle lives over 100 years (in fact one is known to be 185) but I really wanted something a bit speedier. I also rejected Lizards, crocodiles and alligators. I want to be able to control my own body temperature and move around without my belly draging on the ground.
Elephants and birds would be amongst my choices, even if age was not an issue. African Elephants live to 70, that would leave me 13 years. The average life span of the Macaws parrot is 60 to 80 years and I expect they look good right up to the end, and of cause I would like to be able to fly.
The other alternatives I found were: Bowhead whales live up to 200 years, but are whales really happy? They might be ecstatic but how can you tell? Greenland shark also 200 years. Deep sea sponges live for up to 11, 000 years but my guess would be that they wish they didn't.
For me I think it would be between the elephant, the Macaw and the shark. I wonder if it is posable to create a cross species of all three. Then again that could go horribly wrong.
I never said I was a fucking saint, but what am I, what do I do? What do I want to do? So someone phones me. I have not heard from her in years and quite glad about that really. She is having a bad time, so will it kill me to just listen to her rant, she is not a bad person really, but she's one of those people who just talks and talks, and you can not get a word in edgeways, so she is rather annoying but if I can help someone just a little bit, just by listening, in a way I feel a since of responsibility. If we don't all help each other then what kind of a world is it. . . But then again, now she will be phoning me every time she gets depressed, and the way she just talks and talks and never listens to what I say, but then again (how many "agains" is that? I lost count) is a bit of annoyance such a big sacrifice to make?
So I could just not answer when she calls. I am not trying to be a saint, but I do like to help people, just a little bit on the rare accessions when I can.
Can't get rid of this cold, can't breath properly, can't sleep as usual and my hip keeps flaring up (rheumatism or something). The other night I fell half asleep in a very hot bath because the hot water was the only thing that eased the pain. I had to go out today but I felt hideous when I got back, mostly I have been just lying on the Sofer.

I thought that First cut was by Rod Stewart and Where do the children play was by one of those 60s singer / songwriters (cant think of here name now). Does anyone know?
Not feeling well at all although lemsip helped. In the morning I . . . Fell asleep. In the afternoon I tried to do some stuff on my printer, but it turned out to be broken in every posable way. Last night I had problems with my E mail. Sometimes I wonder if technology is not just a plot to piss me off.
Other than the sleeping I have had better days.
