When I found this meme today, my heart sank. How well I can relate. When we find love, real love, it is something we feel we can wait an eternity for. We go through the motions... Allowing ourselves to feel unwanted for so long. If a connection happens with that person finally, after years of hoping.. You feel you don't ever want it to go away. You feel it's right, you even say so. The other person does too. Then boom.. It's gone. Out of reach. You continue to hold on... Wait again. Hoping it will return. True love doesn't go away. But someone who truly loves you in return will show it. You won't have to guess. You'll just spend time continuing to wait.. Hoping and wondering that it will be the same again as it was for that time period that it was good.
Not everyone will be so patient. But someone who really is in love with you.. Truly loves you, I believe will.
