Bacon, Idolatry and other such Sacrilege.

Sometimes my mind forgets that it’s encased inside my skull.

Ramblings, stories and random absurdity brought to you from the writer of “1001 Uses for Hoarded Toilet Paper” and “I’m Willing to Bet $10 Jesus Christ was from Outer Space” and many other books, papers, and requisition forms you’ve never heard of. Read at your own personal peril, laugh a bit, cringe a lot and visit often!

Patience: A practice in futility.

The hardest part in identifying what your goals are and actually seeing them through to accomplishment is undoubtedly the amount of time spent in the interim.

After you have a clearly set objective it’s very hard to avoid taking shortcuts or accepting substitutions in order to speed the process along.

It’s very important to remember that while settling for less may seem like a logical compromise there is a good possibility that your momentary satisfaction may be short lived.

The old saying that “good things come to those who wait” may seem cliche but there is nothing more rewarding in life than getting exactly what it is you want exactly the way you want it.

Finally holding that which you’ve desired in your hand and in your heart makes all of the in-between time seem like nothing more than a tiny price to pay for a lifetime of contentment.
