"When people told themselves their past with stories, explained their present with stories, foretold the future with stories...the best place by the fire was kept for...the storyteller" ~ Jim Henson's "The Storyteller"
The power of the story, whatever it's medium, portrays more about the mind of the reader than that of the writer. The world as I see it, and the world as you see it, they are already different worlds. From differing perspectives and intrepid imagination, the world can become something that is as fantastical as it is real. What is the world if not for our perception through our mind. Where we look, how we act, what we learn, they all come from the choices we make. We choose which details of a story are most vital to us; that which resonates. We choose which consequences to endure with our actions; that which delegates. We choose the future that we build from the world in our mind we envision; that which extrapolates.
What you choose to learn from my stories, I hope they guide you on your own journey towards a better future and new learning. What I choose to share here with my stories, I hope they help me gain perspective and understanding of this world I perceive. You are here, and thus you have the choice to read. I am here, thus I choose to write.
This is my story.
