One day I will have to remember to remove my belly dancing tunes from my workout playlist that I use on the treadmill.
There was a time that I lived in a small town in the heart of Virginia. Main Street wasn’t any longer than a mile and I had a route that I’d walk. It was easier to swing the booty when the body wasn’t stationary. I didn’t need a gym membership. I’d pass certain things along my path; a headless naked Ken doll, a flattened frog, the eclectic yard with all kinds of trinkets hanging from trees.
I had familiar faces I’d see everyday...
The town moved. I moved ... my body moved. My ass would move and usually... I’d keep my balance. The treadmill poses a challenge.
I was painfully reminded this morning listening to We Swarm by Beats Antique... just before I nearly passed out (I had a bit of a blood pressure/ low iron scare going on).
