Where is good erotica?

I'm in search of a good erotica sight, watching porn just doesn't do it for me since its so fake (but feel free to give recommendations there too). Does anyone have some favorites they wouldn't mind sharing?

Sounds like you mean erotic literature. For a list of the many books in that genre, you just do a look-up, simply searching "erotic literature".

As for pornography, I watch it from time to time when I'm in the mood to rub one off (or two, three, etc.)----even though a lot of it comes with campy story lines, fantasy costumes

....like a dude in some faraway place boffing the hotel maid, all of whom in those videos are far hotter than the usual time-worn hags I see working for hotel "Housekeeping"

But from what I have seen, once past the "scenarios", the "action" is real enough-- for me anyway. It accomplishes the objective, let's say.


Someone in here may have more information in that area than me, since I can't get into reading erotica, and definitely not writing any.

Literotica has a very large collection of erotic writing covering many genres. The writing varies from very good to awful, which is the case with most sites.

Some members here write erotica.

I find a lot of longer pieces on Kindle Unlimited. It's not necessarily all erotic, but there are a few authors that really focus on power exchange relationships/bdsm/etc. that you may find interesting. I find it more entertaining because there is a relationship behind it and the authors do a lot of research so it isn't your typical s&m.

Literotica is the biggest and probably the best, but it should be pointed out that it is not as "Kink Friendly" as some of the other sites, as far as the general readership. If there was an erotic story site that is more specific to BDSM and fetish, I would be interested in finding that.

I have a few published stories on Literotica, but only one of them is actually BDSM/FemDom themed, as those stories are generally not that well received over there.

Another vote for Literotica. You can search by label, BDSM is one. I have a lot of fiction up there - CharliMac if you're interested. I post BDSM fiction to my blog here, too, like a lot of other people.

I haven't found much that's good in terms of novel length BDSM fiction. There's Brie's Submission, Cherise Sinclair's Mountain Masters series and Sylvia Day's Bared to You series, none of it is great. The Story of O lots of people like, I hated it. She didn't seem to enjoy anything that was happening to her, and that's a turn off for me.

As for the Story of O? I read it at fourteen years old and knew "regular sex" wasn't ever gonna be my thing. It's the kind of book people either love or hate instead of being indifferent or lukewarm about I think.
