Sudden influx of subbies

Trancebunny(sub female) • Jun 17, 2026
Has anyone else noticed lately the sudden influx of subs?

I remember before, there was a very distinct sub/Dom ratio difference and now I find its reversed?

I also find Doms more particular? Has anyone else noticed this?

Larger numbers of 18 year old fake accounts. Gone quickly.
That's all I have seen.

What? Me particular?

I think a younger generation is realizing their sexuality and finding their space to belong. Sometimes there are fake accounts and they come and go. Us elders wont be here forever 🤭 There are just as many Doms, they tend to hide from appearing online and many keep visually hidden. This allows for a wider range of play with multiple members, all at once. It can help separates those that are here for genuine reasons and long term friendships or relationships. To those looking to rock their socks or “mind fuck” to the actual members whom often blog and have rich profiles.
The sub community discuss the “Doms” here to keep it all straight and share information as far as references and background.

There are also, unfortunately, a lot of bots; the kinds that message you with terse one-liners like "Hello, How Are You Today?" then, often by the time you reply (if you even bother) it's "Profile Does Not Exist." Seems to be a sad reality of dating sites (both vanilla and otherwise) these days.

As a Femdom sub for years, my opinion is that more younger people are wanting to experiment with kink dynamics.

Many of them don't acually understand what a real D/s lifestyle takes to be successful and later disappear. It's the same as most anything else - inexperience vs. expectations due to misinformation (usually from porn or movies).

My Dom & I were the same way when we started - learned by being patient, listening to people with experience, and going through a lot of trial & error.

If by bots you mean people trying to skirt the rules and getting caught and banned, unsure if that’s a new slang or not.

It’s beginning of summer break, the kids are out of school. There is an influx of subs this time of year pretty much every time school is out for more than just a long weekend. I notice it on holiday breaks too. There is usually a rhythm and flow to the coming and going, but I think the community here is growing nicely. ^.^

As a lifelong sub about to enter my ninth decade on this planet, it looks to me like these things come in waves. Annoying perhaps, but what matters seems to persist under all the noise and fads.
