Your Lack of Limits Does Not "Cast a Wider Net"

You know, the amount of people who skim profiles, take the whole lifestyle BDSM thing quite...casually are astonishing to me.
Particularly doms who have very few limits or in place of that use the "prefer not" when in reality, they do not like a kink; may not align but often I imagine are uncomfortable putting the subject under a 'Hard No'. Of course kink lists are something we edit, change over time on occasion or discover we had a secret kink that may have once been verboten. My whole point being that if you are looking for a serious dynamic with an adult who is aware of the safe, sane & consensual motto; you're shooting yourself in the foot by not being more honest or upfront with yourself or genuinely considering what you could "perform" versus what you would genuinely enjoy with a partner. There are many of us who have specific kink needs for dynamics to work; and a simple "I can try" is not going to make it fun for anyone in a scenario like that, some of us are not "starter subs" so to speak. I'd encourage people to really delve deeper especially if you are a dominant or a switch; I think sometimes talking with others on The Cage, or even journaling on why you teeter with certain kinks, or seem repulsed by another may be worth the time. Just my two cents after a bit of inactivity and coming back to see a plethora of remarkably odd messages with little thought beyond taking one aspect of a profile and ignoring the rest. Human nature, maybe? I'll let horny intro be the excuse once, but twice and I get bored. The "Hey" can stay in the barn and with the pony play folks. |
