What do you love about impact play?

Just like the question asks, what exactly do you enjoy about impact play whether you're on the Top side or Bottoming side? For me personally, as a Sadist, I absolutely thrive in a scene where I'm dishing out hard blows and yet my Bottom still smiles and laughs with me, wanting more and more. The aftermath shown on their bodies is the cherry on top.
