Late night Rants, thoughts and/or questions

1 year ago. September 14, 2023 at 7:47 AM

Have you ever met someone who you liked talking to them but because of the conversation and things you just didn't feel like there was anything there besides possibly friends.

Like seriously wouldn't you rather be told, "I'm not interested in pursuing a relationship with you/ or see us as anything other than friends"

OR

have someone try faking that they are still interested/lead you on for a long time?(Hurtful to both individuals if you do that)

HONESTLY the first one is definitely a more mature way of dealing with things.

NOW

If someone messages (sub) and tells the Dom they just  don't see the conversation going to a relationship... THEN don't be a jack ass, immature, prick and so on that you accuse the person (who said not interested) saying

"I figured. You're just here for horny attention.  You'll get plenty of it when you stop lying to yourself about what you want." (Dom saying that) then blocks them.

LIKE WHOA NOW.... EXCUSE YOU!!!

Well long story short Let me tell ya" YOU DODGED A RED FLAG "dom".

So to those who can't take someone telling you they aren't interested how about you instead say," I understand and wish you well in Finding the right Dom for you."

Instead of being an ASSHOLE!!!

fluffypoppet(sub female){Protected} - The internet has some strange customs and the audacity of someone who felt entitled to be more than friends is one of them. I don’t really get it. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Emms(sub female) - Very very True!! Honestly this isn't the first experience (won't be the last I'm sure) that has happened when getting to know someone on this website. It gets so tiring and annoying that at times i feel like the cage is not the place to be looking/learning/meeting people. Although that's just the upset, annoyed and frustrated side talking. The rational side definitely makes me realize how many great people I have met who are truly interested and take things seriously. Like people say," Can't let a few moldy grapes/apples ruin the rest of the ones that are good"

Max Heathen(other male) - That is definitely good advice for both sides of the slash! Good write up.

Jack in the box -
When its one sided, and im talking about a "healthy" exchange between two "adults" - it can be very difficult to just say "look, I dont see this going anywhere besides friends" - but that is indeed the best course of action. It spares deeper hurt feelings down the road.
Unfortunately, that seems to not be the prefered behavior so very often.

ThomasVa - This should be a mandatory read for people coming on for the first time. Well written.
