The day I've been working towards for 2 1/2 years finally arrived yesterday.
I graduated from my Radiologic Technologist program!
When I first contemplated changing careers after 25 years, I doubted whether I'd be able to do it. After all, my memory is no where near as good as it was when I was in my 20's LOL. I thought "what are you thinking? You'll be almost 50 when you graduate! What if you can't remember stuff like you used to and get good grades still?"
Once I made the decision to go for it, there was no stopping me. In my head I said "I AM COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM!" And just like that a switch was flipped in my head from can I do this?, to there's nothing that's going to stop me from doing this. I was a freight train on the tracks to the rest of my life. And nothing was going to derail me.
Before I attended my graduation ceremony, I chose to sit for my boards test in the morning. No rest for the weary! 😂 I am very proud to say that.........I PASSED!!!! 😁
So I am officially a Radiologist Technologist!!! 😱
