Just things I think about or feel from time to time either from experience or observation.

This is my current bruise. I think a blood blister? I got it 6 days ago putting the garbage bin at the curb for pick up. The handle slipped out of my grip and hit my arm. But I can also get these by carrying plastic grocery bags dangling from my arms or running into the corner of a doorway. Any impact really.

These types of bruises are something that concern me when anticipating bdsm play as an older woman. If I had a lot of them, people would probably assume that I was being abused by my partner and potentially that could cause some problems for us.

If you are an older sub or know an older sub, what issues have you run into that you wouldn't have had at a younger age?

Sweetlydepraved(masochist female){Owned} - I find it more difficult to kneel for extended periods of time, and due to medication I can get dizzy going from one position to another. I have always bruised easily and I have never found a way to avoid them. However, I have noticed that red light (you can buy a red light box) significantly reduces the length of healing time. Red light therapy is good for you on multiple levels so it is a win all around.

lambsone{countrySir} - Exactly. Someday I'll probably have to tell my Dom that I'm kneeling in my heart, when I can't do it will my knees anymore.

My Dom and I are nearly at that stage all depends what training position some I can do some I can't but we have adapted a lot and it all still has the same meaning to use as it's done with a willing heart, just like yours 🤗🙏

lambsone{countrySir} - Glad that you both were flexible enough to come to a compromise without sacrificing the dedication to one another. In reality I may never have the chance to find out but I think ahead about it and try to think of ways to submit that can compensate for any issues that might come up.
