I love what's happening here on the Cage, the yellow brick road, and now the lighthouse movement, it's amazing. It's an uprising of truths and fears and pain. It's showing who we are, all bloody and bruised. We are stepping forward and showing ourselves. Are we afraid? Hell yes we are! But that is just fine.
This movement/ uprising is allowing so many of us to find our voices. We would blog and few would read, we’d get the ”thumbs up” other more spicier blogs about playtime would over power the board. But something shifted. People really started to open up. I am one of them. I had to, I felt the desire to just bare all, I mean really who would think to discuss their emotional child abuse and forced abortion on a BDSM site? I did so because there was hope and caring and kindness and love and security.
This is real. This is us. This is our home away from home. So follow your yellow brick road home, click those heels. Sail in your raging storm, steering towards that lighthouse you know is there for you. It is time to come home.
