Last night, my babygirl looked at me directly in the eyes while we spoke for a long time and it is something I will never forget. Don’t get me wrong, she has done it before, but not for any extended period of time.
Direct eye contact has been difficult for my babygirl because of her past trauma and she is somewhat shy as a result of it. Over time, I have knocked down her walls and she has come out of her shell as we built trust and our strong bond.
Not only did she look me straight in the eyes when we spoke, but she showed me her love, her deep devotion and her soul! I could have just stared into her eyes for days on end with no words necessary at all!
Her eyes are so damn beautiful to me. They are mesmerizing and precious! Her eyes are so pretty that they just make me want to melt! So...needless to say I am a very very happy and grateful Daddy right now!
