I know that feeling as well. I first learned it when I was 4....
It hurts. It hurts to know that someone doesn't want you but here is something that I am trying to fully integrate....
It's not that you are valueless or worthless.....it's that you have no value to THEM......and yeah, it sucks but flip the coin. There are people you don't want in your life. Does that mean they are without value, period? No. They just have no place in YOUR life...that's the difference.

That would be fine. But not this situation. Not the person who wants you in their life. Who craves you. Who tells you how much they need you. But when push comes to shove, you are always the first thing they push away.

Yup...that's a sucky position to be in. It's not healthy....for YOU.
Not being someone's priority....you need to decide how you are going to handle it. Will you continue to give and not receive (in good times and bad), or will you decide to be healthily selfish and make YOURSELF a priority...and choose to walk away out of respect for YOUR values and YOUR self worth?

I agree with SBD . It is clear that if you are not a priority and easily pushed away . it is possibly time to take care of you and move forward instead of being stuck

Thank you, and I have moved forward. Just defining my emotions and the realization of what I am in this situation hurt more than I thought it would. I am processing it.
