I was cleaning my desk and going through papers, throwing stuff out, and I stumbled across this note that I had saved from one of my residents.
I cared for this resident and his wife. The wife passed away in 2017 which left this poor man devastated. He eventually healed and began to move on. He found other women to chase... not limited to other residents!
He was very fond of a few of the staff. I was one of those few.
It hurt reading the note because this man passed away while I was on sick leave with my surgery. I never was able to say “Goodbye”.
It might be a little difficult to read.
