But i like making friends and if somone is gonna take the time to message me i can at least return the minute it takes to respond. Plus always a new friend potential. =)

Amdis​(sub gender fluid) - I'll be the odd one out then. If someone is in my inbox saying stupid shit, I'm going to ignore or block them. For instance, I got a message yesterday from someone that was just "call me" and thier phone number. I'm not responding to that and giving them the time of day. If you don't have the courtesy of striking up a true conversation, I'm not going to entertain you and give you my time, not even for a no thank you. If you're rude, you get rude back. Some of us get messages every day from people along the lines of "hey BBY, you're sexy" or "be my slave like the dirty slut you are". That doesn't deserve a response. Those of us getting approached like that tire of it quickly. It's not worth my energy to rebuke someone.

Belladonna Dreams​(sub female){Phage'Hada} - That profile has been banned. Me and a friend on here got it as well. I messaged a staff member and she got that message too and banned him.

Thecharmedmuse​(switch female){My Wildman} - I totally got that message yesterday... I was so tempted to be very ... not so nice with that phone number.

SchrodingersDinosaur​(switch female){N/a} - A bit gentler version of Amdis's sentiment, although I understand that too. No offense meant SD but unless you are a very unusual fellow here at the Cage you don't get the full court press of messages and emails girls do when they log on. I'm sure it's the same for the other girls but my time here is limited sometimes. I realize it doesn't take long to send a reply and I do try to when I can but if I can only spend so much time it's going to be spent on people I've connected with most likely, or at the very least answering someone who has taken the time to read my profile and possibly blogs and makes an effort to start a convo with me, not just a blanket 'hi baby' or form letter 'hey, will you humiliate me?'. Umm..no?

HuntertheYeenQueen​(dom femme){Allie Kat} - Honestly, when you get 10+ messages a day sometimes, you stop caring about what they have to say. I respond if it seems like someone actually wants to talk but 90% of the time its pathetic people begging me to fuck/Domme/own them, showing me they dont give a fuck as I have it stated quite clearly that I'm not here for it.

And when you're usually threatened or belittled when you /do/ respond because the other people are upset that you didnt immediately fall for their advances? You tend to give even less of a crap about responding.

If someone doesnt respond, and you're not trying to come onto them but you genuinely just want to talk, then send another, more sincere message to get the point across that you just want to talk. Sometimes the courtesy is enough to get someone to be more comfortable answering. Or just move on. It's really not a big deal if people dont respond.

I can understand where it could be frustrating. But you should also understand, especially if you're trying to talk to a woman because, let's face it, we get harassed pretty often online, that some people just.. have such terrible experiences that they really /dont/ want to privately talk with others. Be understanding and respectful and you'll prolly have a much easier time.
