Cable Tie
Narrow disposable plastic belt designed to lock back on itself that can be used for bondage purposes.

How do you include these in a scene? How do you keep it safe?

Thoughts?

L a r s(dom male) - I wouldn't recommend it for anything but temporary use in a kidnap role play.
They can dig/cut into flesh, they're more difficult to cut, they *only* tighten, don't have similar safety features to cuffs (i.e., they're much easier to accidentally or overly tighten) and they offer nothing significant enough to make up for this.

Want a restraint that won't loosen and can be applied very quickly? Invest in a solid pair of cuffs.
Want something disposable? Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver.
Obviously zipties have a combination of desirable traits, but when you factor in the potential risks and discomfort, I believe there are better alternatives for restraining subs.

Jack in the box - What he said ☝
If you must, keep a pair of cutters right handy.

Coltic - You not have to use thin ones you can get wider. Dont tighten them keep them loosely on. Keep handy a skin safe scissor and use a silk scarf between skin and the toes. To name a few ways to keep it safe.

dollMaker(dom male) - There is no way to use these safely. The thin cross section will dig into the skin, with potential to cut, and even cause nerve damage. Cheap thin edged metal handcuffs have the same issues.

Wide, broad surfaced, padded leather cuffs safest option.

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - From an adventurous submissive side, there's a lot I'll try. Anything that involves to much risk I won't. Like dM said wrong handcuffs are a no. Same no for zip ties. Nerve damage is not my kink.
