Bacon, Idolatry and other such Sacrilege.

Sometimes my mind forgets that it’s encased inside my skull.

Ramblings, stories and random absurdity brought to you from the writer of “1001 Uses for Hoarded Toilet Paper” and “I’m Willing to Bet $10 Jesus Christ was from Outer Space” and many other books, papers, and requisition forms you’ve never heard of. Read at your own personal peril, laugh a bit, cringe a lot and visit often!

Why breaking up is good for us...

We don’t exist in a vacuum. There are no dividing lines separating what we are from what anyone else is. Good and evil do not exist; only the potential in all of us to do what is right, what is wrong or what is vile.

Nobody has it all together. Every single person who has ever lived had to figure out everything the same way you did. Some people get there faster...some slower...some never get there at all.

The person that replaced you in a relationship you cherished is absolutely no better or worse than you are. The person you lost is no better or worse than you are. We are all just trying to position ourselves in the most beneficial situation we can through comfort and compromise. When a relationship ends, regardless of who ended it or the reasons behind its demise, it’s ALWAYS in the best interest of both parties involved whether it feels that way or not. It signals that the mutually beneficial components of the arrangement have ceased to satisfy one or both parties. Even if only one person desires to end the relationship keep in mind that it’s only a matter of time before that individual begins to withdraw their contributing factors and you are being denied those benefits regardless.

Feeling loss is only natural. Both parties will feel this to a degree. We all cherish memories and love never really dies. It is only transferred or transformed.

Now you are free to find your beneficial place with someone else.
