Adult Bookstores/Movie theatres/Arcade

Hey guys.

I'm really curious about something and I would like the opinion of y'all on this

Do Adult Bookstores/Movie Theatres/Arcade still exist?
I went to one pre covid times and it was an amazing experience. And after all these years I just want to know if they still exist around the world.

Hope y'all can help.

I didn't really see any "adult bookstores" either before or after the pandemic, they might be aroun, but there are a number, not a crap-ton of them, but a number of "adult entertainment stores" who carry naughty nighties (to be general in description) Some have toys I imagine.. I never really went into one. Twisted as I am and occasionally dress I don't want to be seen or surreptitiously photographed anywhere near one of those. Safer to buy Online, have the stuff delivered in a good ol' plain brown box.

As for movie theaters I assume you mean the ones that show the XXX flicks.. Not in my general area, but I'd not go into those, too many seedy, greasy guys, not necessarily horny old farts, but guys I just would not want to be anywhere near in a dark room... Besides, I get all of my "rub off" visual aids Online with my handy-dandy adblocker / pop-up killer/ AV software so I pretty much get off for free no matter what.

Arcades.. sure, they're around, just not as abundant as before. They found a niche with those seeking a good old fashioned pinball machine but they have more recent gaming as well.

Also there's the well-known Dave and Busters, a Dallas-based outfit with 156 outlets, the ones "near" me are in Eastern MA while there are a couple in CT. They mix restaurant fare with arcade games... From those who have bee to one of those.. it's a pretty good time if you don't mind leaving with much lighter pockets.. Those things aren't "cheap"-- well they are not bank-busters but who can just play one game once?

There are few adult bookstores still around where I grew up at...though one was lost to a tornado a few yrs back.
Still an arcade locally here with many games from the 80s and 90s.

@Miki @zipties This is NOT what he is referring to. He’s referring to an “adult” arcade, where the only game you play is with yourself if you catch my drift.

If you looking for the back section 😌, of an adult store, they are indeed still around. Ask some locals.

Like I give a damn. Never mind. I'm not the only one on this thread who took "arcade" as "arcade". Never heard of or saw a whack-off parlour in my travels. Most people, but not all, of course, prefer to pull their meat or rub off in the cozy confines of their own homes.

By the way, "CAPS" are neither needed nor appreciated. I am not blind.

Make your point in a civilized manner and everyone can take it or leave it at their own discretion.

Pot? Kettle? Making your point in a “civilized” manner, eh? I was perfectly polite (and correct)

You sit on this site seemingly 24 hours a day, spouting your “expertise” that is frankly non existent. You are an expert on literally nothing, but you cannot control yourself and have to throw your 2 cents in. You’re a joke, and your temper tantrum because I pointed out that again you are again no expert, proves my point. Grow up, dude.

(*...sigh....)

We have one adult themed book/video store here in my town but I've never been in there, honestly. Always felt kind of weird, especially since I'd be interested in BDSM porn and I didn't want to be judged by asking for it. I THINK it's still open. There are a couple of adult novelty/toy stores though, and I think they carry some videos/literature as well but again, I've only been in there once or twice so I don't know.

No "Jerk Off Parlors" here, though. I do remember going into one in San Francisco once, on Broadway, a long time ago when I was younger, and to be honest I thought it was kind of lame. You just go in to a little booth, drop some quarters in, and a panel slides up and you get to watch a nude dancer gyrate in front of you through a window. I didn't find it particularly arousing; I mean I WOULD have probably, in a different environment, but it just felt so...I dunno, seedy and kinda gross.
