Just me

My journey is a road I travel most of the time with friends by my side. Some days I walk alone, others I hold someone's hand. This is my journey on cage. If you really want to know about me go back 2 years ago to my first blog. Enjoy

   Dear Covid-19,

Hey I hope your having a great time causing everyone to freak out! I have to say I enjoyed your visit to our county for a few days but now I believe its time for tou to go.

I wanted to let you know Covid that you are a pain in the ass literally and figuratively.  I cant find any toilet paper in the stores so I guess when the apocalypse hits and my toilet paper runs out my tushie will be sore and not in a fun way!

I dont understand either what I shall drink because from the way you have scared everyone youd think all the water systems are tainted.

Covid I do have to say thank you, because of your recent visit I have been working a lot of over time, draining myself, not seeing not my kids and making myself crazy!

So again I hope you enjoyed your stay now get the fuck out!

💜 phe

So as you can tell I'm about done with all this bs! I hope everyone realizes there is this neat thing called the flu that they will test you for first.  GUESS WHAT you can die from that too!! GUESS WHAT ELSE it can also cause respiratory issues.

People calm down  and do the basic . Avoid populated areas (costco to get all their Toilet paper and water) wash you hands, cover your cough/sneeze and keep yourself healthy.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont believe everything you hear in the news.  I have been in conference calls every week with the California dept of health, and the information they give us I hear later on the news but it's only maybe 5% of what we were told and not the important part.

Stay safe and smart so you dont get a bad cold, teach the kids etiquette because those walking germ bags dont seem to be getting it but I'm sure will mutate and give it to us. MOST IMPORTANT watch out for the elderly this seems to be hitting them the hardest!

Live to kink another day wash your hands use your head dont forget play hard!

J

CrimsonRose - Can't but help laugh about the sheeple who are making bulk purchases of common house hold items. I've heard folks in some hospitals are stealing masks. Really. Thank you for the share. We nurses are not worried and we are the frontline protecting and caring for you crazies. Blessings of good health. TX

Pheonix J(sub female) - We actually had to lock up masks because of the shortage. Nit to me tion they dont work even the N-95 the spores are getting through them.
I wish the public realized how much the health care workers need the wipes to clean their hospitals not them to ckean their home.

Miss Tia(sub female) - I know I have to be fitted for the N-95 working at my hospital. Have to be fitted once a year, it's mandatory. Those that are stealing them....if they don't fit right, they won't protect you.

CrimsonRose - Bleach and Vinegar are the only things one needs to clean with. I'm all for the washing hands and cleaning houses but really what were they doing before this?

Satindragon{Not Lookin} - Little know facts

Approximately 50,000 adults die each year from pneumonia!!

It is the number one cause of death in children under 5 worldwide. In 2015 it claimed 2400 children per day!!

My conclusion is this: if this new virus is causing the elderly to come down with pneumonia. Shouldn’t we be making sure that those we love, who are at high risk, have had the pneumonia vaccine.

This is just my thoughts. I may be totally off base. What are your thoughts??

Pheonix J(sub female) - I so agree but so many responsible parties believe that the vaccines make you sick so they say no. We cant give unless we have concent and I have to say most of my families are crazier than the patients and the patients have dementia!

Satindragon{Not Lookin} - Lol. They can tie your hands. I’ll admit I wasn’t crazy about getting the pneumonia vaccine and I won’t lie. It hurt like hell and my arm was sore for days, but I am glad I did it. It is one of the leading causes of elderly death across the globe. I had it when I was younger. I do not ever want it again. I will instruct my family to be sure whatever facility they stick me in has the authority to keep me vaccinated.

You and some of the others on here should start planning to open a BDSM Retirement Home. Lol

Pheonix J(sub female) - Oh my gosh that would be awesome. Only proble is keeping the staff out of the dungeon.

Satindragon{Not Lookin} - All teasing aside, we as individuals need to turn off the tv and social media and get on with life.

CrimsonRose - So the Pneumonia vaccine is only good for the Bacterial PNA's so this helps with that but the viral will still be a threat. Fact: we are all going to die, we can do the footwork and we should but in the end we all have a finite time on this plane of existence. Acceptance that we are not in control of everything and some folks won't make it, hell could be me. "Keep calm and carry on".

Grey Eyes(sub female){Owned} - I did get the flu this year, despite the shot which is required by the health system I work for. Yup I know it's not 100% and I hear locally it is very ineffective this year. Then I managed to develop pneumonia cause gee I am just special that way - along with an inpatient stay in the hospital. First inpatient stay for me except the birth of my kids eons ago.

For those of you who aren't aware, pneumonia vaccine is covered by insurance for "elderly" and those at risk. Flu vaccine is covered for everyone (toddler and up) with health insurance at least in our region. I am not suggesting in any way that this is something you should do... certainly optional. I have two anti vaccine adult children and hear their rants, so please keep me out of it if you have different feelings about vaccines.

DarlingKitten - My clinic is will be counted as a frontline clinic for testing. My patients are already freaked out and swamping / logging down an already busy clinic. Then bitch about the long wait time...duh my volume of pts I see & treat daily almost tripled. I am a solo provider 80% of the time so yeah there is a long wait.
Some of my staff are even freaked out about it, my thing is if you are that freaked out about it then let us know we will take you off rotation until you can man up and deal with this...you are in medicine you will get sick.
I am not concerned about me getting it I just don't want to take it home to my father (who frustratingly refuses the PNA vaccine!!)
