There's lots more to explore in our Magazine, including in-depth looks at Cash & Kink, BDSM Contracts, and many other topics, all crafted to enhance your knowledge and enrich your BDSM experience.
And don't forget to share your comments - we always love to hear what you think.
We have a couple of brand-new magazine articles that explore a fascinating and somewhat controversial topic: money, power, and BDSM.
First up is "Cash & Kink: Findom, Pro Domination, Money & BDSM." This piece dissects the differences between financial domination and professional domination, while also exploring how money can be a useful tool in a power dynamic. We've thrown in some tips to spot scams and maintain a healthy balance between cash and your D/s relationship.
Then, we have some advice if you are considering your first visit to a professional dominant. Check out our second article, "Cash & Kink: Investing in the Pro Domination Experience." Whether you're keen on picking up new skills or simply seeking a no-strings-attached fantasy, this article is tailor-made for you. Learn what to expect, how to prep, and most importantly, how to ensure your chosen prodomme is the real deal.
For some, mixing money and D/s is a big no-no, and that’s perfectly okay! Everyone sets their own limits, and despite what anyone says, money is NOT a requirement for a D/s relationship. Anyone who insists otherwise is likely trying to manipulate you—a major red flag.
Learn more about this topic in our latest episode of BDSM Bites:
Disclaimer Although money may play a role in a power exchange dynamic, THE CAGE prohibits solicitation for financially-based relationships like paypigs, findoms, sugar daddy/mommy/babies, etc., as well as the promotion of commercial services, including professional domination sessions. We encourage you to use the provided information to make informed decisions about money and power exchange. Remember, it's your right to keep your finances out of your D/s if you choose; money can be a limit just like anything else.
We're happy to introduce our latest feature on THE CAGE: "Seeking." It's a practical addition aimed at helping you find new connections within our community.
If you enjoyed our previous Personals section, "Seeking" might pique your interest. Just switch on "Seeking new connections" in your profile to show you're interested in meeting new people. Whether you're looking for play partners, casual conversations, or something more serious, "Seeking" signals your openness to others. Once activated, you'll find a new section in your profile where you can specify the type of relationship you are looking for, your preferences, and your expectations.
Want to find others who are also seeking? Take a look at the new "Seeking" list in the main menu to find the most recent members who are also looking to make new connections. Find out more about what others are looking for by clicking on the links that take you to their profiles. There, you'll see more details about each member and what they're after. You can also utilize the "seeking" filter in Find Friends to locate additional members seeking connections as well as filter by other parameters such as location, age, D/s orientation, and more.
To our Premium members who are seeking, you may wish to adjust who can contact you in Preferences/Privacy. Here you can open your messages to all users or limit contact to other Premium members only.
We hope "Seeking" will streamline the process of connecting with like-minded individuals. Update your profile and start seeking today!
Our latest article in THE CAGE Magazine tackles a significant subject: Edgeplay Terminology. Despite the revulsion towards racism, homophobia, Nazism, slavery, and hate speech, some individuals are drawn to exploring these themes within roleplay. What drives this attraction, and is it possible to engage with these topics safely and ethically? We explore these questions and more in our latest piece, "Exploring the Edge: Extreme Terminology in BDSM Humiliation Play."
And don't miss our other CAGE Magazine articles on important related topics such as Consent, Safety, and Humiliation. Keep in mind, edgeplay isn't suitable for beginners, so ensure you and your partner are well-prepared and have discussed the prospect thoroughly.
Please make sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.
We've heard you! Over the past week or so we've received numerous inquiries regarding the removal of our Personals section from THE CAGE. The decision came as a surprise and disappointment to many of you and we are very sorry to have removed this popular feature with no forewarning. We fully understand the frustration expressed by those who found it useful or simply enjoyed browsing the ads.
The removal was necessitated by a compliance survey aimed at ensuring adherence to the strict regulations set forth by credit card companies. Negotiating the legal landscape and seeking compatible collaborators poses considerable challenges for any platform. Introducing BDSM elements further complicates matters.
With fewer payment options, higher commissions, and the need to remain vigilant in the face of ever-evolving regulations, the path to compliance becomes increasingly challenging. This is why similar websites are scarce; the hurdles are substantial.
We're not the first to confront such a dilemma. Craigslist notably removed its Personals section in 2018 due to new legislation on human trafficking enacted by the U.S. Congress.
While we acknowledge the frustration this situation has caused for many of you, we see it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. We're already hard at work developing a new and more exciting alternative to help you find your kinky match.
To our Premium members, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. Your contributions are vital for our sustenance, growth, and enhancement. If you haven't yet upgraded to Premium, we encourage you to consider doing so, not only to enjoy all that we have to offer but also to contribute to our collective growth and progress.
